  • Inspect cranes and associated equipment’s condition to ensure operational integrity to handle upcoming heavy workload.
  • Overall supervision of the deck crew, and assisting at helicopter operations
  • Activities are typically wide-ranging as a recognized expert and problem-solver. This applies to all areas of safety management.
  • Ensures that personal behaviors/work practices are a role model to all and in line with company safety standards.
  • Leads and pays close attention to housekeeping, double-checks and takes additional safety precautions to ensure no-one is put at risk by own work or the work of others.
  • Participates in safety initiatives/committees where appropriate.
  • Ensure Crane integrity is maintained to current legislative, corporate and manufacturers recommendations.
  • Carry out planned maintenance routines ensuring spares & resources are planned and organized in a timely manner.
  • Understand the management of change process to be able to identify and initiate change managements events.
  • Ensure constant clear and effective communication with deck crew and vessel crew.
  • Ensure Good Housekeeping within Crane Cabin and machinery.
Our Client has immediate openings for Offshore Crane Operators. You have to work in a similar offshore position and have been a Crane Operator for minimum 5 years. You must have at least Sparrows stage 3 or equivalent and Valid Offshore Crane Operator’s Certificate and possess good English communication skills.The Crane Operator is the offshore unit’s designated operator of all deck ranes utilized in the lifting and movement of all operations equipment, systems, supplies, containers, tubulars and other materials utilized in the daily functioning of the offshore unit as directed. During non-crane operational modes, the Crane Operator’s work activity includes supervising Roustabouts and participating in various maintenance work about the entire offshore unit, to include paint preparation, painting, material/equipment movement, repair and maintenance of systems and equipment within various departments as assigned/directed on a project basis. During relocation of the drilling unit, the Crane Operator assists as directed in positioning the drilling unit on and off location.
